And it's dragging the Nikkei down with it. -139 so far. Globex -480 too, leaving only a point and a half premium to cash. Oops, -610 now. Of course, much can change while I'm getting my six hours of sleep.

G'nite,
Bob

PS: Anyone notice that during this entire 3 1/2 week decline, trin-5 keeps managing to avoid hitting 6? 5.87 last Tuesday and 5.65 this Monday, but 4.69 yesterday (panic?) and still falling. Maybe we're not so oversold as many think (hope). But that's just one indicator, so WDIK?

everybody: go to Dr ED Yardeni's home page and read his paper labeled CRASH. This guy has been dead right in his predictions so far.
From his description, we're in the same boat as Japan and our bond yield is going to nada.
After watching what's happening tonight, I'm headed off to bond land.
This explains why the street has been slamming these insurers below book value...they're sitting on a ****load of bonds.
So companies like IBM, LMT that have huge bond holdings will go up (or stay stable) because of the value of their bonds. :-)
read it everybody....don't discount this guy's predictions....
