Dear Gates: Ever hear of the "Long March", or more recently the "Cultural Revolution"?? Hardship is something the Chinese are very familiar with and cope well with. Remember, the vast majority are Peasants who could care less about economic relationships, $$vsYen vs Yuan (or whatever they call their money-just forgot). As I said, Never say Never but my money is on the Chinese. Can you imagin the immense prestige which would come from being the Asian Nation that "SAVED" the region?? Cant quantify THAT in $$$.jdn
