But here's a paraphrase from the CEO of STCL (an obscure co. that's currently my favorite investment). When queried about forthcoming announcements re some large new distributors, the CEO said that he'll make no specific announcements of good news beyond general strategy until after arrangements/contracts are signed and irrevocable. This upset several people on the conference call, who wanted the stock price boosted as soon as possible. The CEO responded that 99.9% is not 100% and it's only the latter that will drive a specific public announcement. Personally, I was tickled with that because it's an effective way to build credibility.
