djane, you're right that this may have an impact on the short-term, but I think the yo-yo market will have more impact. The executive obviously mis-spoke, or was mis-quoted, re: the telecom company comment.

However, considering the new acquisition possibilities, I'm not sure what to make of this. If LU truly wants ASND, as so many here believe (personally, I waiver on this, almost daily), a simple statement like this will not deter them. However, if one chooses to read into this statement that ASND wants to remain independent, then ....

After being one of the fortunate ones to sell early at an average of 50, I'm fully positioned again at an average price of 46. I'll likely let the stock pullback close to this before unloading.

It will be hard today to tell whether this article has an influence on the stock price since the overall market is looking down right now.
S&P Futures -8.0 and NAZ100 Futures -15.5.

djane, the market is not reacting to this news (or non-news???) yet. ASND is at 49 in light pre-market trading.
