Doug, Actually, I'd rather be averaging up than averaging down. I'm mad because they appear to be blowing a fantastic opportunity in this industry... the best and fastest growth opportunity in commercial history. They were there at the right time. All good things, BUT the fact of the matter is that the stock price is in a downward spiral and I am losing LOTS of money with it. Instead of congratulating ourselves on our intelligent foresight in selecting such a wonderful company, we ought to be worrying about what the rest of the world knows, including Mr. Market, that we don't know. Bottom-line, management is responsible for the return to shareholders. That is measured only one way! Management is ultimately responsible for EVERYTHING, including Mr. Market's opinion of the company. Either they have to earn some good money and get some decent ROI OR they have to convince Mr. Market that the alternative is worth it. So far that hasn't happened. Insofar as the patents are concerned, I think they have had enough time already. They ought to pick some weak company who is infringing on their patented technology and sue the hell out of them to set a precedent. Alternatively, they ought to make some deal with somebody else to show whoever else may be considering violating their rights a better way to go. I don't agree with you that factoring receivables is such a wonderful thing. It is very expensive and shouldn't be necessary in normal commerce. What kind of terms are they giving that gives them a cash flow problem? I really loved the Company and all it had going for it but I have been extremely disappointed with the pace of sales, profits, and patent enforcement, and above all else, market performance. I hold management responsible for all these functions. They SHOULD BE DOING BETTER, given this opportunity. I'm (too) long at an average of 15 and I also hope to be averaging up. But they have got fix their image with Mr. Market and there are only a very few ways to do that.
