Any time a brokerage is offering free trades, you are on the losing end. I would rather pay more for a good entry and exit on a play then
have a free trade. Where is the incentive for the brokerage to prioritize your trade? No money on commissions has to be made up somewhere. So if they are executing you fast on free trades, then there must be another incentive. Oh yeah isn't that called arbitrage. Not with my money they don't.

Datek is as guilty with this market order inside of 60 seconds or else its free garbage. Use a limit and they either can get you in or not. At least they won't be carving off an 1/8 here or a 1/16 there while you get your "free" order.

It is interesting that Webstreet will move 1000 shares or more for free. Hmmm sounds like that SOES isn't an option for them to get you in and out on the hot spread.

I would rather pay.

Of course if you are a position trader and or longer term investor, whats a little arbitration amongst borkers(this is not a typo).

Considering 'The executioner'. Seems with my trading activity, quotes will be free (including L2). I currently pay $150 without L2.
Any experience?? Thanks
