on adobe, cd writers are eating into sales big time... my friend burned me a copy of adobe photoshop 5 a week ago (one of the perqs of being in college is not having to buy software or music)... I remember how easy it was to pick up adobe photo 4 either in warez format (only 17 disks) or just a straight up cdr copy.... the only thing protecting it is a serial code... for more info on the cost of piracy, check out the HST thread (i wouldn't recommend investing in HST though).
