Ron: That Russia comment on the Reuters Wire is weak. The speculators are taking-up heavy positions in the currency, the HSI and futures markets. This is going to get even uglier. It's obvious they intend to break the peg, or wreck the economy attempting to do so. And not only in Hong Kong.

It is believed the full force of the speculators' triple-phalanx attack will be brought via offshore facilities on Monday, an HK public holiday.
