yes- the term comes from sports. It's when you move your
head in one direction to fake out the defense player and
then go the other direction.

Hi David, Exactly that. Like a running back head fakes the tackler then goes the other direction.

David: "Head Fake" is more of a sports term. Faking with the head one direction, just prior to moving the body another!
