let's see.......price of 32 and eps of 0.13 gives a forward pe of 246. Alternately, let's use the thread consensus estimate for end-of-1999 stock price. That gives a trailing pe, at end of 1999, of 538. Brian guessed the stock would be at 90 by 12/31/99, giving a pe of 692. Many of us have wished that AMAT could have pe and ps raties like the internets, YHOO, for instance. Be careful what you wish for.

If the analyst thinks these results will equal the general market performance, I guess he's calling for a depression.

BTW, zalesky, I am making money on AMAT. My puts have almost doubled in value since I bought them a few days ago.
