That's pretty much the only Bogie movie I've seen. I thought it was pretty good. But I definitely wasn't impressed with his acting, either. The Line, "here's to looking..." was meant to be a witty rejoinder...he turned into a toast, a throwaway line.

Oh well. I still liked the film overall.

Did you ever see The Cement Garden?

Have you seen The Big Lebowski? A Coen Bros. flick, quirky humor similar to Raising Arizona. I enjoyed it, but it is a sort of shaggy dog tale wandering off in all directions.

Someone recommended Simple Men to me, said if I like Whit Stilman and the Coens I'd like the flick. You seen it?
