cpu is buying the computer city stores out from under tandy...

tandy corp has had so many screw ups its amazing that ceo hadn't been booted... (i think they started in TX)

** remember INcredible Universe (i was just counting the quarters till that thing died

*** computer city's prices could never compete with CPU (didya see the poor earnings) or with best buy

* don't get me started on the tandy line of comps, sheesh..

** i'm surprissed that radiio shack is actually makin money, since I never see anyone in the stores, oh well..

I knew CPU was in the dog house when the were rebating so much stuff away (get to chalk up a sale for 1 quarter) around memorial...I backed up the truck on that stuff, and my rebates came in yesterday...(better cash em while CPU is a going concern.. just kiddin)

Tip, They are buying or have bought Computer City. However, the same store sales were down BEFORE the CC purchase.

It is hard to believe somebody would buy a pc box at Radio Shack, but, they do. And there are a lot more Radio Shack stores than computer stores in this country.
