LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 1998--NewCom Inc. (Nasdaq:NWCM) Thursday announced that it has reached a worldwide distribution agreement with Ingram Micro, the world's leading wholesale distributor of technology products and services.

Ingram Micro will distribute NewCom's full line of computer peripheral equipment that includes modems, upgrade kits and Internet set-top boxes.
