Hi Trufflette, Semicon biz & Semicon equipment biz go hand in hand. The current bust cycle started in 1996 and swing of pendulum is predicted to turn in 1999. At this point companies not in niche segments will find that 8 inch wafers won't crack it, nor will pitches larger than ,016 micron. I may be a little early, but I was impressed AMAT's performance of percentua ly increasing their profit in the face of substantially reduced revenues. This to me is indicative of good management But having said that, I've wrong many, many times before Regards Alan
