Pigfarmer, I was kinda wondering that myself.

Much depends on whether one wishes to trade or hold. I'll occasionally sell otm calls and use the proceeds toward purchasing (otherwise expensive) puts -- this strategy has worked during periods of higher uncertainty. If one wishes to hold the stock rather than trade, then a short-term drop below 103.5 (given the example) isn't disastrous.
