Mohan...Yes, there is a relationship between the growth of the internet and PC sales..But that growth is more beneficial to the sales of the home computer rather than the sale to businesses....Big business isn't going to buy a computer just to hook up to the internet.....A recent survey lists PC purchases by the home buyer to be spurred by wanting to hook up to the internet as the number 1 reason to buy one....It just seems to me that the low-cost PC (e.g. CPQ) is often looked to as the "entry level" PC, especially by many people who thought they couldn't afford to buy one before.......DELL's forte is the high-end business target, for which buying a PC just to hook up to the internet isn't going to be much of a factor.
