12 hours a day - or more. This is a marathon event with people starting to line up at 8:00am to rush for spots when the gates open at 5:00pm on the Thurs and Fri. Fri and Sat nights there are normally 60 + tents set up in the line up and people stay all night for gates to open at 11:00. Then the music goes until 12:30 - 1:00am. So my 12 hours was actually wrong for the weekend. Gates open at 10:00am and the workshops start at 11:00 so we were more like 13 and 14 hours on the weekend. And it was hot dry heat, with Thursday being an all time record high for Edmonton.
