Advantage OT >>Here is another advantage of Lucent over CSCO: CSCO is in the Bay area with more potential earth quakes while Lucent is headquartered in N.J. and its R&D in Naperville, Chicago. <<< So that means that while CSCO is falling in the Ocean, the LU employees are being shot in the parking lot and the factory is broken into every night???

OT Here is another advantage of Lucent over CSCO: CSCO is in the Bay area with more potential earth quakes while Lucent is headquartered in N.J. and its R&D in Naperville, Chicago. Not necessarily and advantage, since the CSCO employees would be more inspired after various trips to Napa Valley (and the wineries), indeed negating the effect of earth quakes, whereas the possibility of higher operating costs at Lucent exists, given the need for translation of the memos emanating from NJ to Chicago into the English language.....even import duties could be imposed ! ¨ ~~
