PC DOCS Selected For Canadian Government-Wide Initiative

TORONTO, ONTARIO--PC DOCS Canada, a subsidiary of PC DOCS Group
International Inc. and the global leader in enterprise document
and knowledge management, today announced that its DOCS Open
Enterprise Suite and Web-enabled CyberDOCS products have been
selected as the core software components for the national "RDIMS"
(Records, Document, Imaging Management Systems) project for the
Canadian Federal Government. DOCS Open Enterprise Suite is
comprised of DOCS Open document management, plus DOCS Imaging and
DOCS Routing. CyberDOCS provides full document management
functionality through standard Web browsers.

CGI Group of Ottawa, an Integrator Partner of PC DOCS, was
selected to provide the integrated solution across the country.
"We are extremely proud to have won the confidence of the Canadian
Government regarding the selection of such a mission critical
application. The pent up demand for this solution is staggering
and one of the challenges will be fulfilling it as quickly as the
client departments would like," said Gord Briscoe, Vice President
Product Development and Document Management, CGI Group.

The RDIMS project is a shared systems initiative involving the
Canadian Treasury Board, Public Works and Government Services
Canada and several other Government departments, that began
several years ago. After an exhaustive selection and testing
process, CGI was awarded the RDIMS contract. As a result of this
initiative all Canadian Government departments will be able to
readily acquire the RDIMS solution based on DOCS Enterprise Suite
and CyberDOCS from PC DOCS.

For the Records Management component, individual client
departments will have the option of choosing either the RIMS
product from PSSoftware, or ForeMost from Provenance Systems -
both partner companies of PC DOCS.

"The Canadian Federal Government is leading the way in the public
sector worldwide, by officially recognizing the high strategic
value and tremendous return on investment provided by a nationally
deployed Government document management system," said Lynn
Kauffman, President, PC DOCS Canada. "I am gratified to be so
closely associated with a project that will provide enormous
taxpayer value and am proud that the Canadian Government is such
an innovative leader in this space."
