VG,
I understand that the Intel chip shortage is for the lowest end PCs, so why are you concerned for DELL? I assume lowest end PC means sub-zero, no? GR

Given that DELL gives Intel an exclusive arrangement for chips, don't you think DELL stands 1st in line to get the chips they need?? I do.

DELL mgt is smart enough not to have an exclusive arrangement without negotiating preferential treatment.

RE: "corporations wanting cheaper PCs...", didn't we hear a few days ago that this trend is already dying out as corporate users realize that they need the higher end PCs to handle all of their application and networking requirements??? I don't consider myself a heavy or sophisticated application user, and yet I swamp my 400 mhz Dimension!

All opinions welcome...GRANOLA

p.s. people are just chicken not buying (or selling) dell so close to earnings...whimps!
