Steve, I seem to remember Fry's ads for 3.2GB drives costing just
over $100 retail. ReadRite recently qualified MR heads for 3.2GB
per platter with Samsung.

I think 3.2GB is right for a sub-$1000 PC and judging by
street price, OEM price is probably under $100 already.
