Hello everyone . . .

sticking to my view that we will gyrate in a broad range for the next months . . . speculative dollars will be stripped from both bulls and bears and the end result will be treading water . . . a year from now corporate profits will either be headed up (and at that point take the markets along with them) or down (likewise).

But here in the midst of our correction/nascent bear market/proto BK what are we to make of the resilience and even strength of the most speculative part of the speculative bubble, the internet stocks? And what does this tell us about the big picture and long term?

Just trying to understand and appreciative of any insights that are floating around in Cyberspace on this point. . . .

Best wishes to all

Monty; Even at $12 a pop the commissions can add up, doing 20
a month, and when I was heavy in to options my average commissions
ran from $30 to $50 a pop. So yes the baskets cut back on expense
a lot. They are not as exciting but in the long haul it looks
like the way to go.
