Tim don't be down :-( I promise that I'll be on my very best behaviour :-)

From your post this is probably the last thing you wanted to read today. I said that folks would just die when they found out!

It'll be OK don't worry. I can't do the interview for a while anyway - here's my schedule:

(1) All of next week - International conference in the US (Pacific Northwest)
(2) Big presentation - 2nd week of September
(3) Week of 14-18 September - Conference in the US
(4) Week of 21-24 September - Workshop

See - I can't do it for a while.

No John isn't searching me out. He's just interested in the revolution that the Internet is having on the investment community in general. I'm only of interest because he wrote the 10 June article on NIR and he knows that I'm a poster to SI. By the time we get to sit down NIR will be at it's new level of $5+ support. I don't make that much of a difference. It's the market that's the important thing. Just keep looking at the chart again for the post-April 21 support level.

When I do get to sit down with him - I'll be on my best behaviour - I'll try to remmber my table manners - and I'll be very polite.

It'll be OK - don't worry - I guess this is the last thing you wanted to hear today :-) Pour yourself another scotch - the post-News dump is beginning to fizzle.

Look at my SI profile again - and pour yourself yet another scotch :-)

David :-)

Tim if i may add my 2 cents/comments; first of all, i've met David and i am not the least bit worried he will be chewed up. David is very intelligent and well spoken individual.John Greenwood is a reporter, it's his job to report the news, not fabricated distortions of fact, just news. David is not hiding or promoting anything that is not public knowledge. (other than a few sources which are sacrid, as are mine).
David will be representing the internet investment community, threads like SI and SH, more so, than he will be representing Napier. He will do a great job in representing both, i'm sure.
My other point is that John Greenwood didn't go "searching" for David. I spoke with him (john) yesterday and he asked who David in Ontario was. Gino and myself gave David the message and he called John himself to set up a meeting. Don't be worried, everything will pan out over the next couple of weeks. chris.

Attention: David-in-Ontario, David-in-BC, Al, xray, Gino, Chris, Napier Followers, etc etc

Regards: Financial Post/David-in-Ontario Meeting

We have all given our thoughts on Napier, either hold long, day trade, or shorting but talking to the media personally in my opinion would not be a good idea....

If the lunch date with Financial Post goes ahead a napier/ici representatives should be there..

any "...internet..." stock forum contributor should definately remain on sidelines...i am happy for you david that you received an invitation to discuss napier, the internet, the forums, the market, the speculation, the future, etc etc

I think that only negative press can come out of this lunch date...this FP reporter is looking for an guinea pig to just get opinions and then slander the hype, the talk , the discussion, the attitude, the stock, the market and everything we hope not to hear in our little forum....we have removed such negative and slanderous contributors who were here just to swear, contribute nothing substantial, who made no phone calls and were here just to piss david-in-ontario off (and dave got rid of them).

Now we have a reporter looking for juicy info to say how a guy from ontario spends half his day searching, reviewing, calling, talking, writing, adding, and completing due diligence on a stock traded on the TSE.....and why does david do it...because he believes in Napier like we all do...but the focus will make us look like hypsters, promoters, idiots to any qualified invester reading a respected business newspaper....

this stock is not going anywhere in the next few weeks in this bearish turning market without substantial quantitative and qualitative information regarding the fundamentals of this company.

also....IMO

1) The management needs to prove themself of their integrity, honesty, strength, qualifications, competitiveness and teamwork and ability to maximize corporate profits along with the creation of shareholder wealth...

2)They need to complete their in-house due diligence on the market potential, their market penetration strategy, while curtailing costs, determine a competitive price strategy, create a industry accepted margin on production costs/market price, get some forecasts, get some earnings, recieve the market P/E and TELL ALL OF US...THE INVESTORS, THE ANALYSTS, THE BROKERS, THE INSTITUTIONS so this company's future can be reflected in its share price....

This meeting this afternoon will help zero unless they discuss this...give estimates or projections..they must have some form of idea....the meeting with FP will help zero but a meeting with FP and ici/napier can help alot...

forget the hype, dont promote...get the management working for us...and i sure hope i dont see brad and other senior management dump their stock....if we here good things from you guys via press/meetings/phone and then we look at insider reports and see you dump stock before any stock increase...you have then IMO zero integrity, zero management skills other than looking out for your self..this company is owned by the shareholders and from a glance has potential...

so buckle up, hold on...wait for substantial news...i dont feel we have a post news profit taking that will change in 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,etc days..i think we are stuck until we get fundamentals

i will report what i find out this afternoon....

sorry for the long post but getting frusterated with this hype and getting the release and finding out not a single thing more than i anticipated...except i did anticipate fundamentals..oh ya..i did find out about 2 other products...yaddayaddayadda

LONG NIR...all the way.....waiting for fundamentals

regards

Alastair

:o)

PS. i like the word fundamentals......so one more time ...FUNDAMENTALS
