In fact the current insiders have commited themselves to large purchases of stock at prices higher than the current prices and loaned significant funds to Valence, in the last 8 months.

If you are referring to Castle Creek, the statement is perhaps right in form but not in substance. The second tranche only comes if certain material milestones are met. It is conditional.

The delay in the analysts visit and the indication that potential customers hadn't started design-in activities yet, were the only two new negative information that I heard.

The delay in analysts visit and the lackof customer design-in is not new news. It is old news that persists. The former perpetuates and aggravates the credibility issue. The latter makes volume sales increasingly unlikely based on the timetables expressed here. This in turn, exacerbates the credibility issue further.

Finaly, the news you cite as a significant milestone implies a major technical breakthrough. This contravenes what I have read on this thread about batteries that meet customer specs have already gone out. As for volume production capacity, I understand they did not confirm they are there yet. If that isn't accurate let me know. If it is accurate, until they have proven volume capacity, the market sees no substance in the CC. The last price I saw was 4 1/2.
