One question to some of the Napier supporters out there. Why do you take any constructive criticism or difficult questions so personally?

You didn't start the company, yet it appears to me that you act as if this is your baby and resent anybody challenging your thoughts, or not agreeing with your assessment of the company. Surely, this stock forum is not just a place for all of us to agree on one point of view, but rather, a place where each of us can put forward our own thoughts and try to determine which ones are worthy of further discussion, and which are not.

Just an observation...

Like I said earlier, I don't want to rain on anybody's parade, but I also don't like to see relatively inexperienced investor's get caught up in the forum hype and sustain financial losses.

TO Gino: Just because I just recently joined and posted doesn't mean I haven't been following the company. And yes, these are my own opinions, however, they are influenced by my network of people in the investment community.

A couple of questions I would appreciate seeing answered in this forum are as follows:

1. What fundamentals are you using to establish that the price of NIR is currently undervalued.
2. What assumptions must take place in order for the stock to be worth in excess of $5.00/share. ie: amount of sales, p/e multiples, peer group multiples, etc...
3. What is the net asset value of this company today?

If someone would like to supply answers to the above, I would greatly appreciate it. If not, that's okay!

I don't want to get into a pissing match with any of you out there as I have far more important things to do with my time (as I'm sure you do as well) than spend it trying to match wits with some of you. However, I would like to establish a constructive dialogue on the company and would be interested to know why you think the stock deserves a much higher share price then what we see today.

Regards,
Tate

David, I would also urge caution in a news interview. The reporter could go in on any one of a number of angles, be skeptical, be smart, and stick to the facts. I assume the subject of the article would be about the scuttlebutt which appears in the internet stock discussion forums and the people who use them. The Philip Services debacle might also get mention in such a topic. I would focus on the more positive aspects: how many of us have contributed, what type of info was contributed, and where many of us are from.

Give the generalized facts if you must but I hope NIR doesn't get dragged too deeply into such an article, I certainly don't see it as being any sort of NIR promotion opportunity. My advice would be that if you must go ahead with it then specify to review and comment on the article for accuracy and viewpoint before it goes to print.

The article need not be specifically about NIR but the reporter might want to use NIR as an example. When I think of all the stuff that's happened around NIR with the internet groups I can reflect and say that it has been quite a soap opera so far. Dare I say, even a circus at times. Some of the most prevalent characters and their stories:

- David who is quite a character in himself, and in his battles with Lentils. Openly enthusiastic, considered too promotory by some. But David has also done extensive research which he shares freely (but not his numerous secret sources). I've spoken with David on the phone.
- Lentils (who I believe still claims to have NO position in NIR stock). Canned several (HOW many times now?) at SI but keeps signing up for Trial Membership aliases. David's nemesis.
- Peter Joseph with his short position.
- Gino "internet research king", I've spoken with Gino over the phone also.
- others less prevalent including myself who have contributed their diligence obtained through phone calls, meetings, visits, product evaluations, etc. The information that we share together makes us better informed and more able to see the "Big Picture" for NIR.

Stories, events:
- Visits from Napier staff to this forum including Sergio and Jason.
- Trial members being banned from SI Napier thread, and the initiation of a subsequent new Napier thread.
- David's ongoing quest to stamp out Lentils (and his many SI trial memberships)
- The misinterpreted humour on SH e.g. "Girly Man" skit from SNL and other stuff about golf balls and x-files.
- Peter Joseph's mis-information campaign and his spat with Gino
- Stock price dips after good news is released.
- Many of the industry players read what is posted here, certainly both from Napier and ICI, maybe even K-G / CCL.

Not to slight any of you guys here but so far it has been quite an entertaining ride.

PS, while we are playing "Say What You Paid", my highest NIR purchase was $3.95, low $2.16. Average $2.31 in my trading account and $2.72 in my RRSP, combined average $2.55. Still holding long, good things ahead.
