Meritt, A possibility, but not yet. First, the Euro has to prove it is not Euro Trash. But the Middle Easterners know they can bully the Europeans with no trouble whatsoever. And the Euro will be big enough to be a reserve currency, while other good currencies, the Swissie, for example, just aren't large enough.

Interesting idea. Hope it doesn't happen.

Merritt:
China is already aboard, having publicly stated that it will use the Euro as a reserve currency. Several large companies outside the European Union have also made similar statements. Richebacher, who earlier argued that it wouldn't happen, now thinks it is a certainty.
Momentum building?

Best, Earlie
