I agree, it is the spin..

While reading the IDEAS thread, that really came clear to me. It isnt what is real in the world, it is what is wanted to be reported on the front pages that is reported.

Like todays econ numbers, they were less than what was expected.. that was the headline, then under their breath Consuelo (lol) mentioned that factoring out the loss of GM vehicles to the number made it better than expected. So what way to take the spin?

I expect that tomorrows PPI will be somewhat the same..

The US economy is moving fine, and as long as the FED and the treasury are fighting conservatism and personal vendettas with the stubborn Japanese/Chinese dignitaries, the same ought to continue.. (IMO)

Keep in mind everyone that these foreign ecpnomic problems are not going to be resolved quickly or easily, the likelihood is that Asia will be in their mire for a year or two, maybe more. Or until the press gets bored of covering the issue..

WOW, the PREM is at .38..... that is a BAD sign....
