DaiS,

Don't quite understand this company. We all know the fundamentals behind the company and its product. We know that the ED market is barely tapped on a world wide basis and that Vivus will thrive even with orals such as Viagra.

The stock price has gone beyond absurd.

Unfortuneatly perception is the rule of the market and the perception is that there is not enough room for both MUSE and Viagra. MUSE scripts are down substantially but it still has only been about 3 months that Viagra has been available. IMO the next 3 months will tell us a lot regarding what exactly is going on in the ED market regarding these two drugs.

I just hope that Vivus doesn't end up as a hostile take over and we shareholders don't end up getting a lot less for our shares than we would have if more time was allowed to pass.

We all knew this. The $64,000 question is why is Vivus incapable of establishing a market among Viagra failures? Personally, I don't see it happening. Script numbers would have turned by now.

THanks Dias on the gene therepy thing.....I did not buy the stock for that reason but if it is good I'll take it...

I will have to rely on the physicians here to say if this Gene thing is good...

Personally I would buy Vivus for the $150 million market cap ...of course if I had the money..

<<These two posts give what I know about the gene therapy work
Message 5319236
Message 5416846;

Excellent posts. If the gene therapy does work well, can anyone guess as to: 1) when clinicals might start, 2) how long would they take to complete, 3) what the clinicals might cost to do, 4) the cost of an injection every two months of an approved drug, and 5) the cost of the manufactured dose vivus would bear.

I know those are hard questions to answer. I'm trying to figure them out myself.

Does Vivus have the exclusive rights to the work done by the Albert E. researches ? Does anyone know the working arrangements ?

DAVID
