Hi John - OT

Welcome to SI - didn't take long for you to make the transition from Stockhouse!! Well here you are - the main Internet investment forum in the world I guess - it all happens here :-)

Time for you to have some fun. Go to the top of this post or yours and click on your name which is hyperlinked to your SI profile. There should be a button in the top left hand corner of the page with `Edit your profile' on the face - go there and you'll get a page coming up where you can put some more personal information should wish that people know a little more about you. Click on my name and you can see what you can do - my theme is "Don't take yourself too seriously" - though the information you put there should be factual - with your own personal twist.

Also on the first page you came to after clicking on your (hyperlinked) name you'll see in the top right-hand corner a button with `Send a Private Message' - know here as a PM. Use this to send messages that you only want the addressee to see - otherwise all messages are public. When replying to me it's best to use PM's - people on the threads really only want to see posts related to the topic at hand.

Once you the hang of it - send me a PM if you want some help with your SI profile.

There is a huge amount of information on SI - many many threads (separate sites where people post on a stock or investing theme). Go to the top of the page and click on 'Canadian' - takes you to the Canadian threads - or on 'Talk' - which will take you to the main directory for all the threads.

Just search around and bookmark your favourite sites so that you can find them again quickly.

Enjoy,

David.

Ps. OT means "Off Topic"
