For what its worth.
I heard today from a reputable source that he heard from a reputable source that the French and Italian central banks are working to get all the central banks to stop LEASEING GOLD. This would be a major boost to gold. Lets hope its true.

Bill: abbey has lost her cachet. She is history as is Joe Granville. From now on she is a contrary indicator. Note that her bullish comments failed to help the markets today.

Traders played down the significance of the Polish CB hiking its gold reserves. But the Zloty has been a strong currency -- one of the few except for the greenback. Now if other CBs should decide to support their currencies via gold purchases....

One of the most accurate KITCO posters stated a few weeks ago that when POG has two consecutive $2+ updays, the bear will be over and a rum to $325 will commence. So let's hope for another good day tomorrow.
