China's slogan will be, Mr. Clinton (or whoever), "Remove your armada!" As soon as China moderates their government (in about 20 years), it will happen. Thanks in large measure to the U.S., and it's "one China" policy. The U.S. is an amazingly intelligent world power. Through non-spoken words, the U.S. is telling the PRC, "if you were to have elections tomorrow, the US would allow you to take back Taiwan next year." Who would defend Taiwan, Japan? Cuba? Iraq? Can you see the fleet and 600,000 young Americans setting sail to defend China from China? Their families bidding them farewell, "Go get'em, son! We've got a plot in Arlington for you, son! You'll be the pride of the family." A bunch of Mandarin speaking Chinese guys on one side, and a bunch of Chinese who know Mandarin on the other; with a bunch of John Wayne-type Americans from the "melting pot" (Anglos, Hispanics, Negroes, you name it- all heathens to the Chinese on both sides), ignorantly standing in the middle of "one China", shooting and being shot by the Chinese guys on the "big" side of the water, demanding that they immediately conform to proper Western behavior in the name of some idiot like Bill "the zipper" Clinton?! When the "Taiwanese" look to see Chinese blood being spilled by the heathens, they would probably fire on the heathens, too.
