Sonki,

MU at 75?

That is a bit rich for me, I hope it hits for you.

Futures up 5, so net up 2...

DELL needs to run up 5 tomorrow. I am getting worried that even if it beats firmly (which I think it will) it is sandwiched between too much bad news...

I was trading MU on the short term, I got a sell signal on my chart and the trading the last 3 days indicated the fall was coming,(100K blocks selling on the highs then let the little ones pump it back up etc). I put in to buy puts when it was at 34 and change but never got filled. I agree it is too late now. Huge bearish candle but I would expect it to turn around next week. I still don't buy the DRAM story and will probably buy puts again soon as it tries to climb back up. MU's accountants have sharp pencils but they aren't that sharp. They will write off all their losses and charge them to the aquisition this quarter but probably still won't make it. Then they will sell their written off inventory the next quarter to show good numbers. The quarter after that they will be dead meat again. I'll catch the 1st and 3rd quarters. Of course it helps that I can drive by their factory everyday and see the empty parking lots, the smoke stacks shut down and talk to the workers. This DRAM scam can fool some but not all. IMO these upgrades are a chance for the funds to dump into waiting arms at higher prices. Doesn't matter to me, I just ride the waves. <ggg> I might even get calls for the ride back up if the market is better short term. I go with the flow on short term trades, I only trade fundamentals on my long term holdings although I weigh my short terms too and try to stay on the right side in case I get stuck with something.
