Mark, you are becoming so sanctimonious it is laughable. And occasionally you really don't know what you are talking about, even though you think you do. And please read the postings more carefully before you accuse someone of a misrepresentation.
First, I love your comment on post # 3720, "you are backing, filling, and spinning up a storm, mooter, you better not be using viagra when you do that."
Don't really need viagra, even though I'm a bit older than you.
And don't really think I've been "spinning up a storm" when I've posted maybe 3 or 4 times on SI in the past several days. You, however, are indeed spinning up a storm - please don't get carpal tunnel syndrome - having posted since 2:00 today on SI alone (I don't check the other threads) # 3697, # 3698, # 3701, # 3703, # 3708, # 3709, # 3713, # 3714, # 3715, # 3717, # 3719, # 3720, # 3721 , etc, etc...
But in one of your most recent posts, I believe you have discussed whether or not I had said the end of August of the middle of September regarding - as a guess - when Valance would announce contracts. Review your SI post # 3720 if you have any questions.
And on your SI post # 3725, when I stated, "I don't need to bookmark anything, since you will manage to repeat it eventually," you responded: "And if I do, you can be sure it is to correct a misrepresentation you made, as happened most recently (implying clearly that earlier misrepresentations had been made...) today."
Then, as is typical, you couldn't resist a little jab: "There are so many of you guys, I may as well be swatting at flies."
I really like the last line - you are really a man on a mission.
However, perhaps you might want to refer back to a post I made back on July 30 on Yahoo - I believe it was my last, since that thread has been totally trashed by real queers (and many ULBI holders, though this is not a mutually exclusive group and I mean no slander to anyone). The post was # 3574 and in part it read:
"As far as my judgment about Valence, believe whatever you wish to believe and so can anyone else. I did recall saying that dilution from the financing, which I felt would be finalized by mid-August, would result in dilution of less than 15%. You stated, first "at least 30%", then a range of 30% - 100%, and settled on a final 35% number. Now the final dilution remains to be seen, because it depends on the conversion strike price sometime in the next 12 months. I'll still stand with the 10% - 15% dilution and feel it is likely to be closer to 10% rather than you 35% number - like my judgment a lot better than your on this score."
Now please note for the "misrepresentation":
"I'll go even better and will challenge your judgment again - I think the company will announce a contract or contracts by the end of August, and mid-September at the latest, since it my understanding that integration of the lines in Northern Ireland is going quite well."
That message - which I think does mention September, doesn't it? - was sent in response to message # 3568 by someone named MGV7... Ever hear of him????
Fact is, I may be wrong and the company may not announce a contract by then. (And I am really not preparing to hedge - this is my best current judgment.) I can live with that - several weeks delay, even from here, will ultimately not be important if the company can produce and get a contract before the end of January. And irrelevant if it cannot produce by the end of January. But I think they are very close, and as long as I an other long investors can take the heat of margin calls, a general market decline, or whatever, I think we'll be fine. EOM |
