Insook,

I do not understand why any Taiwanese company is not on the list. I have heard that unlike Korean companies, Taiwan companies are not heavily leveraged. I would think that one or more Taiwanese companies could become major players.

InSook, Don't get fooled by this DRAM scam. You can play it for a trade, but all those fabs have not disappeared or been demolished. If they ever get to breakeven, a lot of switches are going to be flipped back on. And equipment orders are still nearly as high as they were during 1994. They are cutting back from ridiculous expansion rates, but still expanding into the glut. And getting much more efficient at producing too many chips. While the pc market goes into the tank. And we haven't even seen the tip of the Y2K disaster, yet.

So, play the seasonals if you must, but don't believe that this is a real turn.
