SYMBOL "TREK"

August 12, 1998, Las Vegas, Nevada

STARBASE-1 COFFEE COMPANY, LTD. announced today that its shares will
begin trading OTCBB with the symbol "TREK." The Company expects
the opening price will be $4.00 Bid - $5.00 Ask.

STARBASE-1 COFFEE COMPANY, LTD., was formed to manufacture, market and
distribute gourmet food products under certain licensing agreements
with a major Hollywood studio and television production company. The
Company's merchandise licenses include:

1. Pictured-themed gourmet coffees and teas and related
accessories.
2. Pictured-themed chocolate bars and packages of assorted
chocolates, as well as molded chocolate shapes, and hot chocolate,
all of which may be sold as gift packs.
3. Pictured-themed gourmet hard candy, including, but not limited
to lollipops and candy rolls to be packaged separately or in gift
boxes.
4. Picture-themed collectible beverage bottles filled with
assorted teas and/or ciders and or coffees or fruit juice or other
beverages.
5. Manufacture, sell and distribute holographic
hard candy (to include, but not limited to, lollipops of any size,
packaged or price point) and 3-dimensional molded hard candy (to
include rounded head shapes of alien figures or spaceship shapes
targeting wholesale prices between $.45 and $.65 each).

The territories covered by the above mentioned licencing agreements
include the United States and its territories and possessions, and
Canada.

The Company started its line with 20 different coffees and gift packs,
holographic lollipops, insignia lollipops, and gourmet truffles and
chocolates. The Company will market these products through the
holidays. In January of 1999, the company plans to increase the line
with specialty iced teas packaged in picture themed bottles, hot teas
individually wrapped and gift boxed, and molded chocolates. Additional
items in development are hard candies, coffee scoops, coffee
canisters, and collectible tin.
