I thought the example set by Richard Nixon was a whole lot lower on the moral bancruptcy scale. In his day, moral behavior on all fronts by many people in this country was at a much lower level; drugs, free sex, etc. The people that claim things are getting worse morally today don't have a clue. Things have morally been steadily improving since those days; if you exclude the immoral behavior we are seeing out of Congress. To pump up a small issue as a big issue is lying; plan and simple.

Ditto What is amazing to me is that Clinton supporters keep talking like the real issue is the sex, and not the Federal laws he broke if he lied under oath, interfearing with an investigation, etc.etc. Is he above the law? Talk about distroying the integrity of the office, just what we need is for it to become excepted that the law doesn't apply to the president.

I guess Paul, when you use the word "morality", you equate that with sex. There is a lot more to morality than sexual behavior. Directing the CIA and the FBI to cover up the finding of a stain on a dress; now that would be an impeachable offense to me. Stealing medical records of enemies, breaking and entering, directing campaigns of slander and libel agains political enemies, etc.; where is this kind of thing today? Seems a lot closer to what the Republicans have been doing to the Democrats today than the other way around. Just replace Independent Council for the CIA and the FBI.

Paul, my take is that it is all a left wing conspiracy created to sucker the right wing into ignoring more important impeachable offenses. They keep pumping up Monica so everyone forgets about the stupid things the current administration has done concerning the Chinese missile program. Sorry to say, nobody talks about Hughes and Loral and China..... When was the last time you heard anything about this subject? The plan is working...............
