Again (as I am sure you already noticed) BEARX has outperformed (in reverse) all the major averages. This is pretty good, since it is not a totally short fund. But we can't expect in-and-out miracles that anticipate every random fluctuation of the day-to-day market, and we have to think of it as insurance and not a long term investment.

BEARX down 1.3% with the market indexes up more than that--S&P nearly 2%. It's not perfect but lately it's doing better. All we need is about 2,000 Dow points down from here to show what it can really do. Anyone who does not think that that is likely should not be in BEARX.
