So what you are telling me is that you just invest in a company and wait forever?

I didn't say that. Even Warren Buffett who says that his favorite holding period for a stock is "forever", has sold on occasion. So there.

One should always reduce exposure to certain market sectors depending on market dynamics.

Sounds cute. But try doing the zigging and the zagging over a period of time and see for yourself what happens.

The world is not stationary Dippy, when will you understand it?

Of course the world isn't stationary. My point is that feverish trading and market-timing tactics will take you nowhere. You may not realize it now, but then you might get it 15 years later, who knows?

By the way your anger seems to be reducing, that is an encouraging sign.

Don't make the simplistic assumption that someone having a point of view that is at variance with yours is angry. Also better realize that if you desire reasonable responses, you must make reasonable statements.

Dipy.
