Richard, Rates of growth are slowing in a number of existing oilfields. My office mate just got back from a Middle Eastern Country that produces 1mm bbls/day. For the last 15 years there it has been open the throttle, drill more wells, and let 'er flow. Well this year in 1998 the first water breakthroughs have been appearing in their reservoirs. So the "blow and go" days of primary production are fading here... It makes me wonder if some other giant Middle Eastern Oil Fields rates of production aren't flattening out....

Sincerely,

Doug F.

Whoaaaa that GLM release sure ''blows my skirt up !''

GLM --- my vote for the bad dog of the patch. Put a chain around Rose's/GLM's neck and tie them to a post way, way out in the far backyard and forget about it !

Seriously; with RDC, ESV, MDCO, NE or DO... how does GLM even trade a single share ? Was GLM involved with a Bankruptcy a while back ?
