Jock, he had a similar one 1 or 2 weeks ago on INTC where he was quoted on DBC as saying that his best recommendations right now were "Intel, Intel, and Intel".

I guess he doesn't come from the "less is more" school of thought <g>

(Granted, I do have some INTC calls going into the open, but it's certainly not because of the opinion Mr. short-term DRAM price.)

It would be interesting to come up with a list of "most ludicrous MU predictions that never happened". Niles predicting 125 back in '95 - looks like a good start. He gets points for "price target nuttiness", but the real bonus points come from the flat-out abysmal timing.

I still think if you go back over this thread and cull out the best arguments of the bulls and bears, the end result would give someone a better gauge of the risk/reward than some of the marketing pamphlets floating around under the title "Street Research".
