KHS, They didn't "give away" their sales force. In fact they paid their salaries for the rest of the year. The move will help a lot in terms of cutting the over head. If Vivus has a serious deal in the works for a partner then the whole thing makes a lot of sense. At the end of September they lose the services of the old rental employees and then all they have is the old core of 75 reps calling on the urologists. But the urologists don't really matter anymore because they already know the product. Seems to me that the whole thing will make sense if a domestic partner steps in just at the time they lose the services of the 150 ex rental reps. We will all know by the end of Q3. 34 more trading days left in Q3.
