hbraff,
I hope you are at least half right so I can get out of this sucker w/ less bruises on my face. After sigm I won't ever touch stock under 5 w/ too many shares. Actually I talked to a guy ( a friend not seen for 23 yrs) last couple of days, and he told me his relative once stole chips from sigm to sell to him (hope long time ago too) and the management sucks (as I have seen). Wish that I could hear these words before I plunged down too much, and hope that they are better now or my hard earned money gone.

Computer Ads: DVD std on 60% of Systems - DVD is getting Hot.

Todays ComputerCity full page Ad had DVD on 60% of the systems. I know that I have been waiting to get a new computer because I wanted DVD and V90 modem as standard setup. The new ads starting this weekend are full of DVD equipped systems. DVD was on the lower-end systems too, up till now it was only on the high-end models. This is great.

Considering that SIGM was breakeven last qtr, there should have been significant DVD shipments ramping up in order for these new computers to be available now. I think SIGM will be in the black. Word about the earnings could be leaking out - a small cap fund might have bought that 100,000 share block trade that went by about 3PM.

Have a nice weekend, everyone.
