Dog,

I see that I have your imagination working. Let me answer your questions.

First, the opinions expressed here certainly have an influence on anyone who reads this thread. This influence may be expanded by hearsay contact. I am sure these threads are monitored by the companies and by analysts.

Second, the market makers have access to officials at the companies in question through their resident analysts. So the question is what have these analysts been sold by the companies? We have some evidence that Oppenheimer believes the spin story that Patterson reported yesterday.

These spin stories have legs made of straw and buckle under close scrutiny.

As to your new exciting career, I think you are already off to a good start. However, like the internet you have to figure out how to make a profit on it.

By the way I think that CPQ is very good at spinning its PR.
Business is war and propaganda is certainly part of the war effort.
The only problem I see is that it may cause the investor to be defrauded. We have caveat emptor for the customer.

Isn't this fun?
