I think the first line refers to people who have been using full service or discount brokers. At least that is how I read it.

In any event, your are right, as always. Far from recommending them, I just threw it out there as an example. While I mentioned just a few I knew who used them, I know ten times that who are using MBT, and there's no disagreement as to who the frontrunner is currently.

And as you know, I am often in #mbtrading, and today was a perfect example of how good the support is, with Ross claiming responsibility for one trader's loss due to a server popping, and asking the guy to call him so they could discuss a settlement.

We're on the same page.

Funk; good post re JPR etc. Fair and Honest. Then you made points about Terra Nova brokers not being the same and MB being best - again, fair and open opinions.

My point would be that I understand that each Terra Nova broker is in fact a division of Terra Nova and that each uses the same software and the same computer servers and the same networking and the same technical support staff and the same brokerage support staff et al. IMHO opinion the only difference between any Terra Nova branch - for that is what each of these are would be the people at each branch.

To me it's like a franchise - they are all Mc Donald's, severing the same hamburgers and the same fries in the same cartoms etc etc.
There is one steakhouse in town - not just another Real Tick/Terra Nova shop - serving something quite different,

Yet since I elect to respect the wishes and purpose of this MB thread will not address that here.

Equity Trading was one of the first remote offices of Terra Nova Trading. They opened an office in New York City back in 1995 offering the Watcher to individuals interested in day trading from Equity's office. They hooked up with Terra Nova in 1996 and was instrumental in testing the Realtick III execution software. No one knows as much as they do. One of the principals of Equity is Gary Roth. He has been trading for over 35 years. Not many people can make that claim. Check them out at www.equitytrading.com
