I am running an NEC P1150 21 inch 85 pound heater. Makes my non-air conditioned house even hotter.

I am looking for advice/feedback on plat panel monitors in the 17-19-20 inch range. Has anyone here had any experiance with them? They are big bucks and I would like some feedback before buying them.

SW,

One or two more MM questions (multi monitors, not market makers):

I've read everything here about the subject. Quite an evolution in thought. I have a pii400 w/an 8mb ati agp card arriving Tuesday. I already know the card can only be used as a secondary.

Does the move to secondary affect the rest of the graphics the PC is going to push (not talking about market day, Real Tick graphics). Am I "losing" anything?

I can't bear even a single IRQ conflict without breaking out in a sweat. Is one multi-card the best solution fo the limited techi?

Can one monitor display be "turned off" without special software like Appian uses for their multi?

Are there any 3rd party software apps to control 2 card/2 monitor displays to make them "normal" (i.e. 1 nice fast graphic monitor) for Saturday/Sunday surfing?

TIA and best in profits,

Alan
