Expect some good news from AMD soon:
1. 350 MHz imminent, 400 MHz not long after that
2. Production way, way beyond the 3.2 to 3.7 million range
3. Tut networking products shipping to Compaq

On the negative side, I don't think the ASP will stay above $100, but will be higher than the 2Q.

Re: "Why not? PII-350 is selling for $370 in www.pricewatch.com . At 25% discount K6-2-350 is $277. That is good money for a chip that cost less than $50 to make. AMD will still making good money even is Intel drops their PII-350 to $150! And you know what? Intel 0.25um process yield plenty of 333MHz and 350MHz and not so hot at 400 and even at 450. Just ask the guy down the street whether he/she is going to buy a 350MHz for $270 or 400MHz for $570. They will buy the LOWEST $/MHz Elmer. Too bad Intel is short of 266 and 300."

I don't believe your $50 cost for a minute but that's not important.
AMD will still be making good money even if Intel drops the PII to $150??? It seems we have been hearing this same old broken record for a long time now while AMD keeps posting those losses. More losses to come and more broken record talk. Face it, Jerry is playing Bill Clinton and the shareholders are playing Monica. Hope you enjoy the role.
