R: What did I want to say: CIEN

was down in pre-market trading more than 10 points.
Earlier this year, TLAB announced to acquire CIEN on a stock by stock basis. So, my first thought was that the merger has been blast off or otherwise, the exchange ratio has been adjusted.
But this was not the case, the fall in CIEN was attributed to bad numbers.
The second thought is that the merger indeed will be less realistic at the last presented terms. So thinks the market and the spread opened to $3 in the meantime.

You got the point? Erasing the merger and CIEN may be down to 40, with TLABS sitting where it is. I refuse to bet on singe stocks in this case, it is not predictable at the moment.
