I thought that even Clinton would have SOME respect for the nuances of the language. Don't get me wrong; I distrusted him from the beginning. He was just too smooth and had this irritating habit of responding to questions without really answering them. The man is a study in duplicity. And of course, we are in for more of the same.

Actually, George Orwell saw this coming. Read his essay "Politics and the English Language." Clinton is the perfect example of what Orwell (himself a virulent socalist) was warning us about.
