-----> Have you ever seen something like this before?

I've not traded the bonds in a long time.
From back when I did, I can recall that this isn't a totally unusual situation in times of unrest and unease.
We've certainly got that now, but back in the old days the foreign investment wasn't but a small portion of what it is now.

A lot of folks are saying decouple has happened between the stock market and the bond market ...... I'm not too sure that it's too far separated .....
I've been tempted several times lately to go short the bonds, and each time I would have made a profit. My dad, when he was alive, pounded into my head ------ watch the bonds .... watch the bonds ..
so for better than 40 years I've been watching the bonds ..... ggg
Lately, I've been slack on doing anything about the casual watch I've been keeping.

Back to your question ...... I think the bond market is feeling the same external pressure that the stock market is ...... and I feel that BigBubba is having much more of an impact than most realize....
Next week should reveal something, anyway ....... ggggg
