ONLINE merchant news. source: &copy [August 14] 1998 newsalert.com Stumpworld's August 3 release stumpworld.com (scroll down) ...so what was the big secret with this?! Stumpworld issues a release on August 3rd and then issues a correction on August 14th???...apparently this isn't exactly like the Lotus 1-2-3 1982 launch we alluded to in a previous reply...and Alpha/SoftQuad [still] has not issued a ONLINE merchant release...nor does the product appear at retail.alphasoftware.com [products]...how do you think Microsoft would have handled the worldwide launch of onlinemerchant.com ...a product whose numbers simply should make Lotus 1-2-3's* 1982 launch numbers belong on Sesame Street (.)... *most successful 1st year sales for software product in history.
